THE GIFT
of GIVING.

At TIEWN, we believe our success carries responsibility.

Charitable giving reflects our deepest values—compassion, generosity, and a commitment to lifting others up. When we extend support beyond our immediate community, we demonstrate the same spirit that drives our professional mission.

Every contribution, regardless of size, ripples outward to transform lives. By supporting causes connected to our industry, we extend our impact beyond professional advancement to touch those who need it most. This is how we complete the circle of empowerment—by ensuring our collective strength reaches those facing the greatest challenges.

The charities showcased on this page are closely connected to our industry.

Send me on vacation

Restoration for breast cancer survivors.

Send Me on Vacation has sent more than 400 women on vacation. Send Me On Vacation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides breast cancer survivors in need of the opportunity to initiate the process of emotional healing through a vacation experience.

  • When Cathy Backus from Scottsdale, AZ saw that her best friend Pam Horwitz needed a break from fighting cancer for the second time she crafted a plan to reach out to her contacts in the travel & timeshare industry to donate unused inventory to send survivors on a much-needed vacation after battling cancer. Inspired by Pam and backed by her husband and “partner in giving” Gene Backus, Send Me On Vacation was born. Now, 6 years later the charity has caught the attention of some of the largest supporters around the world.

Send Me On Vacation is an all-volunteer organization and raises funds for survivors to become thrivers through events. Every event sends local survivors from the state it’s held in on vacation. Send Me On Vacation empowers survivors to reconnect with themselves on a rejuvenating vacation. Our vacation experiences have a profound effect on rebuilding the lives of breast cancer survivors after treatment. Our vacations are designed to strengthen the body, stimulate the mind and heal the spirit, creating a transformative journey into health and wellness.
